Which age groups are our programs designed for?
We offer specialized programs for learners aged 6 to 18. Each group is structured by developmental stage to ensure every child receives age-appropriate challenges and instruction in our outdoor garden.
What gear should students bring for their adventures?
Participants are usually only required to bring weather-appropriate clothing, a warm waterproof jacket, sturdy footwear suitable for outdoor activity, and a packed lunch and drink for the day. Most specialist equipment is provided by Wildpath Adventures. For some activities, such as paddlesports or wetter outdoor sessions, participants may also be asked to bring a spare change of clothes and a towel where appropriate.
Do programs continue during inclement weather?
Yes — outdoor learning programmes continue in a wide range of weather conditions, and sessions are often adapted to make the most of changing outdoor environments. Activities will only be modified, relocated, or cancelled where weather conditions present a genuine safety concern, such as high winds, electrical storms, or severe weather warnings. Wildpath Adventures places a strong emphasis on dynamic risk management and safe decision-making to ensure all activities remain safe, enjoyable, and appropriate to the conditions.
Is previous outdoor experience required?
No previous outdoor experience is required to take part in Wildpath Adventures programmes. Sessions are designed to be inclusive, supportive, and adaptable to a wide range of abilities, confidence levels, and experience. Activities are delivered progressively, allowing participants to develop skills and confidence at a pace appropriate to their individual needs while being supported by qualified instructors throughout the programme.
